Bookplate Requests
What's a Bookplate?
An author-signed bookplate is a small, self-sticking label that can be pasted inside the front cover of a book. Meeting in person to sign your paperback isn't always possible and shipping them is costly and time consuming. Plus, the author really hates walking in the rain to the post office and standing in lines. Autographed bookplates are the next best thing. And they're free!
How long does it take?
Please allow ample time for mailing. The thing is, the author is busy writing. Bookplates are signed and sent periodically, especially during times of writers block.
Tip! Properly formatted mailing addresses are more likely to ship quickly.
If you have a deadline (birthday, anniversary, holidays), make a note of it in the personalization field! We'll do our best to get it to you in plenty of time. (The author would also like to say that she's immensely honored that you would give her work as a gift and she may get a little bit misty about it.)
The only thing we ask is that requests are limited to two per person. At least for now.
But I'm not in the U.S. and my address doesn't suit your form!
That's okay! Please email the author at the address located in the webpage footer. Also, be sure to provide all of the necessary information or your request may get lost in the shuffle. Please allow extra time for shipping because international stamps may require an extra trip to the post office.
Can I get one for everyone in my book club?
The author is misty again. Yes! If your book club is reading one of her books and you would like bookplates for your copies, please use the contact form at the bottom of the home page. Provide one mailing address and the list of personalizations and we'll send bookplates for each of the readers.
